Since 2018, Jim and Brenda have partnered to grow the Wings for Wishes Fly-In event, raising over $285,000 for Make-A-Wish Maine. While Jim dreams big and takes to the skies, Brenda works tirelessly behind the scenes to put the pieces together. Together, they are deeply committed to empowering local wish kids and fostering a stronger sense of community across our state. Their combined dedication brings this magical event to life and creates a lasting impact for families in need. Each year, Jim and Brenda graciously open their home to pilots and aviation enthusiasts for the event.
Christopher Arno
Team Member, Ice Cream Man, and Event Logistics
Christopher Arno is the "yes man" of the event. He loves the Wings for Wishes and is determined to see it grow into the future. While many know him for his ice cream, he is also responsible for helping plan multiple fly out events. Being a founding member of the Northeast STOL series, he has organized previous years STOL competitions, entertainment events, and other fly out activities. His dedication and expertise ensure that every flight and Wings for Wishes activity contributes to our mission of granting wishes.
